Abstract
An in-depth look into the development of GIS (Geospatial Information Systems) through the J. Willard Marriott Library as an emerging technology and project oriented service depicting what GIS is, the layers and levels involved in the creation of a geospatial project and impacts these services have within higher education.Keywords
